Kevin Silberberg

Superintendent, Standard School District

Kevin Silberberg, a District Advisor and principal trainer for the Kern County Superintendent of Schools, has had a varied career as a teacher, a principal of a state and nationally-recognized school, a faculty member at three universities, and--for fifteen years--a champion for the effective use of technology in our schools.

He has received numerous awards for school leadership from school districts, universities, the Association of California School Administrators, and state and federal departments of education.

Kevin received his B.A. and M.A. from Point Loma College and his Ed.D. from Pepperdine University.

Kevin has given frequent consulting, training, and keynote presentations for school districts, businesses and organizations. He has been recognized for his expertise by being selected as a consultant for Microsoft, Xerox Corporation, statewide committees within ACSA, and site reviewer for state and national school award programs.

In November 2007, Kevin was named Superintendent in Standard School District.
