When Karen Eoff was setting up Tech Camps for the Southeast Arkansas Education Cooperative, her goal was to build capacity among staff and students to use multimedia tools to enhance education. At first, she was stymied; she could not find instructors for the Tech Camps. No one had the expertise she needed.
Then she thought, “What about students?” She knew there were students in the schools who had mastered the same skills she wanted teachers and other students to learn in the camps. But could she use students to teach teachers? She decided to give it a try.
