David Weksler (that’s David at the far left) has been involved in educational technology at the grass roots level for years. I first met him when he was working with The Math Forum, an award-winning project that dates back to 1992. It was fun to reconnect with David for this telephone interview in which I picked his brain about how far he feels we’ve come—or not come—in terms of integrating technology in truly exemplary ways. Here are some resources related to David’s comments:
- Dwight-Englewood School’s Technology Programs
- Anytime Anywhere Learning
- The Geometer’s Sketchpad
- Tales from the Electronic Frontier
- Exemplary and Promising Educational Technology Programs (large PDF file; takes a couple minutes to download)
- Student Technology Showcase
