Quick Fact:
According to a statewide survey in spring of 2003, California schools serving the highest percentage of students on free and reduced price meals continue to have the worst student-to-multimedia-computer ratio. For example, schools serving 81% or more of students eligible for free or reduced meals had an 10.49 to 1 student-to-multimedia computer ratio. By contrast, schools enrolling 20% or less such students had a 8.84 to 1 ratio.
