This is a great site listing the top 200 paid, free, and grossing mobile apps in the United States for education rated by users. Click on the title of the app and it takes you to a description and some screen shots. Shows you which way the the app is moving in it's ranking too.
 
US Educational Broadband Planning

Congress has asked the FCC to create a National Broadband Plan. Within that plan, Congress has called for an examination of the National Purposes of Broadband ("if we build it, what's it good for?"). This site is devoted to the questions of the national purposes for the education system in the US and includes education from Pre-Kindergarten through Graduate studies. You can contribute, share, brainstorm, vote, and see examples of effective use of broadband in education.

The eCAP program at El Crystal Elementary School in the San Bruno Park School District is a unique take home audiobook program where 40 targeted students use iPods to listen to and read from several different literature books.
