Embrace the Leadership Cube: Connect, Create, Collaborate

Submit a Proposal for the 2012 Conference

We are accepting proposals for workshops and breakout sessions for our 2012 conference. Please read through guidelines below thoroughly and click the link on the bottom of this page to submit your proposal.

The deadlines for proposals:

  • Pre-conference workshop proposals now closed.
  • Deadline extended to November 11, 2011, for 60-minute concurrent sessions.

As you develop your proposal, please keep the following points in mind:

  • First and foremost, this event is “for leaders, by leaders.” Our target audience is comprised of principals, superintendents, curriculum and instructional leaders, directors of categorical programs, and other key district office personnel. Be sure your proposal directly addresses the interests and needs of one or more of these groups and is focused on technology, innovation, and/or 21st century skills AND reflects this year's conference theme: Embrace the Leadership Cube: Connect, Create, Collaborate.
  • Please consider how your presentation relates to the National Educational Technology Standards for Administrators (NETS·A).
  • You should be prepared to present your session twice during the conference. Breakout sessions will take place in the morning and afternoon on February 22nd and in the morning on February 23rd.
  • We will have a limited number of pre-conference workshops on February 21st.
  • Each proposal may include up to four presenters. One presenter must be designated as the Lead Presenter. All subsequent communication will take place with the Lead Presenter. It will be that person’s responsibility to pass along information to co-presenters.
  • The Lead Presenter will receive complimentary registration for the conference. Co-presenters must pay the registration fee and register on their own. All other expenses are the responsibility of the presenters.
  • All handouts and resources used in your presentation should be made available in the online conference repository.
  • We will only accept proposals submitted online. However, a printable version is available for reference as you prepare your online submission.
  • To confirm that your proposal was accepted, you will be directed to a Web page thanking you for submitting a proposal.
  • Are you ready to proceed?
