In this multimedia presentation, master teacher Gayle Britt shares her approach to teaching with technology.
Gayle is a remarkable person. She teaches middle school English and social studies in San Carlos, California. She is a National Board Certified Teacher. In 2002, Technology and Learning magazine named her one of nine Ed Tech Leaders of the Year for her innovative use of technology in the classroom, and Computer Using Educators (CUE) awarded her the prestigious LeRoy Finkel Fellowship.
From 1995 to 2001, Gayle served as a Technology Learning Coordinator in the Challenge 2000 Multimedia Project, which was cited by the U.S. Department of Education as an exemplary educational technology program. Gayle made major contributions to the Project's dissemination materials and presented her work at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) annual conference in New Orleans in 2000.
